Without trying to put my foot in it  I think that the above issue is not the main reason for these pups not being able to sell in the UK

I have to admit that due to personal circumstances I was not able to promote this litter or market it at the right time as I have only started advertising this litter when the pups were 6 weeks old which is far too late for litter in UK

Because the breed is so rare (and expensive) here people don't just buy these dogs on impulse but they do they research visit various sites and talk to different breeders

Although in my opinion the HD issue may be a little exaggerated in the UK but this is only my opinion and I believe everybody is entitled to their own opinions
That's why I can't believe that this discussion has turned in to full blown argument

I would also like to say that I personally don't believe that there is any kind of boycott going on from Jo's side as she has been there for me a lot and I can only but admire the vigour with which she stands by her believes and I can only but respect her decisions no matter if they may be right or wrong in my own or others eyes

I would like to thank everyone for their support and share with you what the people in the UK are missing on  :)

Roy

I will try and hassle the owners for some new pictures  ;D

All the males stayed in the UK but from the girls only my Kenya and Bella owned by Paul (Barny on this forum)

Pete from Blusteel has Ruby who just gave him those beautiful pups after Dante Degli Elmi

And Sarka has...well also Bella who I hope will follow in the footsteps of her sister Kenya and will do as well on the shows

Hope it's enough for quick update and I will try post some pictures soon :)

Great news Pete....the biggest smile is on my face  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D especially because Ruby has been scored by the pennhip procedure which in my opinion is much more accurate then the conventional procedure available here in the UK

Maja, congratulations on a great hip score for Ruby.  It's a fantastic verification when those come through...

Sarka, you are not being fair.  The puppies were not 'boycotted' here in the UK, and cerainly not because they were HD/B.  You should know that after reading all our arguments and discussions recently with Tony over breeding programs with HD/C.  The issue was not Baddo's score, but that Baddo was not scored at the time.  And even then only because the rules that we set up and published stated that we could only support litters from scored parents...

Now that Baddo is scored, this is all in the past anyway.

Again, congratulations Maja and Sarka on a great result.

Marc

Sarka do you mean Dino - the big blue boy or Fido - the little black one?

Unfortunately I lost contact with the owners of Dino who went to Scotland and I even still have Dino's pedigree as they don't answer my emails

Heidi I think Kenya will be in Europe again next summer finishing her championship but I am sure you will see her one day  ;D
