Hello there!
First of all I want to say that I am very happy to find this Forum,were it seems to be a lot of great Cane Corso breeders,and also the forum seem to be alive!I think I need to stay!Pc freak I am also..haha! 8)
I have been member of many dog forums..for a long time!And I still am..Unfortunately there are no Cane Corso people there..As a matter a fact there is only a lot of people that does not know the breed,that talks negatively about it and its history and behaviour.Very sad..
Therefore I think I will love to spend more time at a forum where people love and breed this beautiful ,and useful breed!For me the Cane Corso are "Brains & Beauty".

There are so many I respect,so I will not mention names!
The people that do a great job will know,even if i did not tell them!
So keep up the good work!
I can say right away that I am BRAINWASHED when it comes to dogs!
Especially the breeds I love.
Cane Corso,Dobermann,Chinese Crested ,and Mastino Napoletano!
Everything about this breeds is something I need to read..
Wanting to learn as much as possible,and understand as much as I can!
So the time I do not spend with dogs,I spend on reading about them,our visiting home/kennelpages about them!
My dogs are all family members,and they get 6 stars from me in being pets and playmates! :P
They never wake me up in the morning..I have to wake them up! ;D
They never leave me,and understand when I am down/sad..
They are funny to play with,and never hurt me ,even if i may hurt them by step on their foot without meaning it!!They wag the tail and say with their behaviour:
"Mom,I know you did not mean it!So lets keep playing!!"
They love and forgive...and they learn me about themselves every day!
But the best thing of all..
They keep me busy!I am so busy every day with my dogs,that I have no time to do anything else!
And I never want to..Because my life with dogs was all I ever wanted!
Always hanging with dogs og all breeds,and sizes form 7 yrs of age..
I early in age(because of being BIG in body)got to walk many dogs such as:
German Sheperds,Akitas,St.Bernard,Leonberger,Border Collies,Labradors,Dobermann,New Foundland,Collie,Golden Retrievers,Pug,Mixed dogs,Howavart and so on.
This day,soon to be 24 yrs old(19 of July!!YAhoo!)I cant in my wildest imagination understand that all this people let me walk their big dogs..because the breeds are not something I personally would "trow out the door" with a 7-11 yrs old girl.EVEN if she was big for the age.
But as we all know..May people have dogs,and are not more tan 50 % interested..and they dont see all the things that could happen with the dog and girl on the walk..They only see an opportunity to get their dog walked!And yeah..I never complained...I did never have any kind of problem with those dogs.
So today I am a dogowner myself!
I have had dogs since i was 9 yrs old,this was a rescue dog...and she had cancer so we only had her for 1 1/2 yrs or so.. :'(Sweet dog,a mix of Flatcoated R.and Chow Chow!
And then I got my first Akita when I was 11..
Been crazy for the breed since I was 9..but my mom did not understand that and gave me a mix instead ::)Anyway I have had Akitas,and 2 litters on them for 12 yrs...and I decided to switch breed.
The Akita is a breed i LOVE very much,but a breed I cannot use.They are so moderate...and I like a dog that has drive.A dog that likes to play.The Akita was not so playful,and very slow.The AKita live in their own world most time :P haha!
Now I have Corso,Dobermann,Chinese and NEo!
Actually it is unpolite of me not to introduce my husband..but he have no clue of internet,and will never be on the forum..But anyway he is here with me and the dogs! :D
And he is as dogbrainwashed as I am.He is 37 yrs old.
Grew up with Boxers and had 6 og them in his life,and also Hovawart..and in military he worked with dogs.
He is a good man,and useful to have as a "Kennelboy!" hahahah...
He fix and drive and and!I could never have a man that was not interested in dogs!Thank God for my darling!
We just applyed for a Kennelname,and I will tell when/if it is the name i get!I hoooope!
We have so big passion for dogs that we will want to breed Corso,and Dobermann.
For us these breeds are working dogs,and need to be able to work!
I belive there is no need to say that to be a workdog,they have to be mentally strong,and healthy!
We go to dogshows about 10 times a year,so the look matters as well..
To be honest we get very very sad when we see that the Corso some places(to often)look like Labrador,Boxer,Bullmastiff,or Weimaraner.Not to speak about Neo/Corsos!
For us the Cane Corso is a atlethic,strong and muscular dog,without being heavy like a Bullmastiff,or small as a Boxer.
It is very easy to sit and say that "My breeding will be the best,my dogs are the best!"
They are not..!!!Nobody can say they have the best!
They can TRY to get the best..and have proud in their breeding and NEVER use soething they should not.
Many breeders of every breed in the world do not have pride in their breeding.Its all about the money!
My thoughts is that it will come out!
They can go on for a long time,and breed bad mentality,untypical Corsos,and unhealthy dogs.
But some day they will hit the wall.
So the best we can do is stop thinking about what every other breeder do,and look at ourselves!!
DO YOU want to do a great job breeding Corsi?
I do!...And i Know many others do to!
Lets share thoughts and knowledge!
There is only one way to keep the Corso as it should be,and that is for breeders that know the "Secret" to share...
For me there is no competition..And I am extremly sad to see that breeders often act like breeding is competition about who can sell most dogs!
WHAT?
I thought we all worked for the same goal?The breed!?
Of course everybode wants their dogs in homes that love them...But competition?
There is nothing to compete about...Unless you only sell for profit.
We still wait for the Corso female we can breed.
And our nice male Obelix has BAD HD,and will never be used..E
ven if he has great show results in young age,he will not contribute to healthy dogs.
The look is NOT enough!A workingbreed need to be able to be used.
He is our Mascot!We love him anyway,and hope he does not get slower and in more pain...
He can only walk 4-5 times a day,for about 15 minutes.And can not run crazy in play with the other dogs.
He regulate himself,and never wants to run anymore.He is not the same dog..And we are so heartbroken to see that the dog that loved to run like a panther,and was a maniac on toys/play and training,never will be the same dog.He does not even want to play like he did.
So here I will stop.My site is only Norwegian,but will later be english!
I am designing a homepage from scratch,and it will come up when Kennelname is OK!

Nobody knows EVERYTHING,but together we know alot!
By the way we live in Norway,but will move to Sweden in only 6 weeks!
Our Neo and Chinese are also form Sweden..haha!So they will go back to homeland with us!

Like I said I am very much brainwashed..and have been on this site for 12 hours since I became member!!!
There is a lot of interesting treads here,and I am sooo happy to see that there is so incredible much to learn..
Not to speak of the CC types,and those treads,were i am very satisfyed to see that many are aware of the Bullmastiff,Boxer blablabla..apperance of the breed..!
I hope to learn all I can,and there will be a time I will come to some breeders asking for a dog!
Here is a great place to get to know breeders,and of course owners...So that maybe contact in future will go easier!
I think i will forget one forum that si all about other breeds ,and dogs in general..There is more to collect here for my brain,and my future breeding of Cane Corso!

Ehem..Don Juan(daily called Ottar) is a hairy hairless..so he must me fixed..haha!!
He has hairdegree 5(if you know this by knowing the breed?)
But I wanted to have "fluffy boots",and long hair on the head/crest..so I went for a hairmonster as we call it.;D I dont like Chinese gremlings lookalikes!hahah..He is very sweet..I have never before had a little dog,but I am sure there will come a new little dog someday.He is so perfect.Not barking and shit,and very social and sweet.Wild outside,and totally OFF inside.Cant see he lives inside..so quiet :)
