My husband Bob and I owned our first Cane Corso "Giulietta" in 2001 ("Romeo" arrived from Italy just 2 weeks later). In August 2003, we welcomed "Nicoletta" into our home. We bred our first litter (Romeo x Giulietta) on January 20, 2004 and kept a male "Cyrano" and female "Cypress" for ourselves. Since this was our first litter, we wanted to wait a couple of years to see how the puppies have developed and with their overall success, we decided to do a repeat breeding. As females tend to go in heat simultaneously, we bred our second and third litters on July 26-29, 2006 and we kept a female "Carina" (Romeo x Nicoletta) who is the absolute sweetest joy in our lives! :-*

We firmly believe in the "total package" of health, temperament and type when it comes to breeding: all of our breeding stock is OFA-Good, have been temperament-tested (with at least a CGC and/or TT) and have earned at least one championship. Our stud Romeo is the most recognized and titled formentino Cane Corso in the USA/Canada and his achievements include:
2004 ICCF National Specialty Best of Opposite Sex Winner
2004 Rarities #1 Cane Corso, #2 Working Dog, #4 All-Breed Dog
6x Best In Show (Adult)
10x Best In Show (Brace Class)

Thanks, Yulia, Tony, Carri, Ron, Irena, Edward, Marcus, Nancy, Lou and Scott! We'd love to see you at a future show, maybe even the 2007 Nationals depending upon where they will be held and our schedule at that time.
Nancy, to answer your question, there are actually 21 puppies in the picture, although a few must be buried under the others! ;)

She had 21?? :o :o :o :o Did all make it?
-
wow 21, your hands were busy....

Ok, here is the clue
we bred our second and third litters on July 26-29, 2006
It's 2 litters ;D
-
welcome ;D
-
Yes, Litter B was 13 puppies (3 natural, then emergency cesarean, 1 did not make it during surgery) and Litter C was 10 puppies (coincidentally, 7 natural, then another emergency cesarean, and 1 did not make it during surgery). We did not sleep for several days, however we are lucky that our vet is nearby and they are one of the few around that offer 24-hour emergency service. So anyway, that is how we ended up with 21 puppies in the picture. :)
