Title: Betty x Primo
Post by: william y on July 09, 2009, 07:28:58 PM: A long time in the works, I have waited to breed a litter from a female I felt was worthy of being bred; one I would be proud of, finally, the time has come!

Fortunately, I was able to acquire Betty, from Paolo, RE Manfredi. She is a wonderful dog, and has fit in well here. I could not be more pleased with her and the smooth transition. I greatly thank Paolo for this opportunity, and the honor of owning her. I hope he enjoyed his time here. Before she was imported, we waited on her heat cycle, and are very pleased to say, her litter has been confirmed by Ultrasound. She was bred to Primo (aka Black) from Castriagno. He is a dog I was impressed with as soon as I saw him, and what he has to offer.

My goal of this breeding is to take steps back towards the correct Cane Corso.
I am very ecstatic on the pending arrival of this litter, and what it could have to offer for the future from this exciting southern Italy pairing.

I just wish you lived closer to me so I can see all the pups when they arrive and as they grow. I will expect many pictures so get your camera ready. ;D ;D

The picture is correct. There are 2 dogs with pedigreename Primo. One is called Black by the owner. That Black is the dog that Betty was bred to ;)

Thanks Nancy,'cause I'm looking at the pictures on the site and saying the dog Primo doesn't look like the one that william posted, but Black had more similarities. thanks for clarifying. Thought I was going crazy.

The smallest was 595 grams, the largest was 737 grams, the other 3 were between 652 and 709 grams. The two that didn't make it were fawn males :'( . I will post "real" pics later.

I hope to have some special help this weekend and will be able to get some nice photos, rumor has it the guy knows his way around a camera :P Then, Tuesday, in for crops! I will say this though, I am very happy how they are maturing, albeit for only being 7 weeks, lol.
