Hello Everyone,
I am a Cane Corso enthusiast in Canada, hoping to find reliable contacts here
in order to find a black male good show quality puppy anywhere in the world.
I am also interested in discussing the ethical standards of some breeders, specifically
one in Denmark/Sweden who basically took my money 1600 US dollars (and that was
only half of the price) and suddenly told me that 3 of he 5 puppies were dead and
that I could choose 1 of the 2. Both of the puppies were of average quality if not
sick... I was supposed to have a first pick puppy.
Anyway, hope to find some guidance from you folks, as to how to proceed...

Thanks...there are some other breeders that have some good stuff up here and there are lots to stay away from! There are also some nice programs in the US as well as in Europe. Good luck with the search and let me know if I can help in anyway. Where are you located?

Hi and welcome

If i read your story, i must say upfront, according to the forum rules,
 it’s not allowed to throw dirt at breeders, no matter what they did. So you know now,
But
If I had to pay 3200 usd, for a first pick,
and 3 of them died, I would ask my money back.

Dear Skinny,

That's also what I did.
After days and days of emailing me and saying that the puppies were fine, I was hopeful to finally choose my puppy. I asked her to number the puppies and send me pics so I could make my pick but almost 4 weeks after they were born and more than 3 weeks after they were dead, she suddenly mentioned that she had lost puppies!!! I was shocked. I asked her to pay me back but she just said: sorry.
After that, she also added to her website that "deposit is non-refundable". She has redefined words like this. You have to pay a certain amount of money to be on the reservation list. That money has no name. Then you pay half of the amount to have the first pick. She calls this deposit!!! I even told her to keep some of the money and return the rest but she just refuses to answer my emails. I am in Canada and can't go to Denmark right now.
I was recommended by a breeder to be on this site and warn people for this breeder.
She constantly changes stuff on her website to save her ass. She refused to give me her address and referred instead to her website and told me that she has a picture of her house there, as if I would be able to find the house with a picture. She refuses to give me her phone number. I have got a cell number that she does not answer to.
Would you please let me write about this on this site? I can prove every single word that I write.

I’m not the owner of the forum, that’s Nancy.
I talked to her, and we both understand your problem.
But, Nancy says, if a 150 regular posters on the forum throw dirt at other people, the forum will be killed in a month, and she doesn’t want that, that’s not what the forum is for.
So we stick to the rules, and deleted the link in your story.

And, your lucky for 2 things, 1 your dealing with me now, not with Nancy, cause she’s more easy and normally you would have a ban already ;)
Point 2, your new here, and we understand your problem, so that’s why you are not banned right now.
This forum is to learn, not to make wars. Even if I totally agree with you.
So please, no names. Tell about the situation, not names.
