I have decided to post a bio and pictures of or foster dog Bruno to hopefully find this guy a great home. You can also see him on the rescue site
www.canecorsorescue.org. I am not to happy with the overly short description as well as the information is just not all correct. With that being said, this is Bruno.
We took Bruno in about 2 months ago because he was approaching his time time at a shelter in philadelphia pa. When Bruno first entered or home he was quite and somewhat timid. His coat was very shaggy and had bare patches. After a few baths and coat treaments, he is soft like a pup and all the bare patches grew in. After 48 hours he warmed up to everyone in the house like he lived here his whole life. Bruno is living with myself, my wife, and my 4 kids (ages: 3, 6, 14, and 16). He also shares our home with another Corso who is 1 year old and a Pug that is 3.
Bruno is a brindle male, clearly on the large size. He weights 124 lbs. I have spoke with multiple vets and their best guess is 4-5 years old. He was neutered last week and everything went very well. At first we were told he could have possible hip problems, but again after speaking with multiple vets, they feel the problem was he was being caged all the time and had no room to move. After only 2 months he is running and jumping.
Bruno is an extremly friendly dog. He is not a high energy dog, he is a total chill dog. He is a total lap dog, he will curl up on the couch with you forever if it was up to him. His guard dog qualities kicked in about 3 weeks into his move in. He is not aggressive, but does show many protective qualities. Bruno is completly house trainned and knows basic commands (sit, down, and stay).
Bruno is up to date on all his shots and tested negative for heartworm, he is a healthly happy dog that needs a good home.
Too often people buy a Cane Corso and later realize they do not have time for them or the energy to keep up with them. Bruno is a laid back dog, short walks and love is all this guy needs.
I would recommend Bruno for someone that is looking for a companion. He is not a show or working dog, but he will sure as **** keep you company and show you love back. He will take to the owner quickly and lazy or not he will protect the home. You can also bet everyday when you get home from work you will see that big cute face in the window waiting for you. I was told Bruno was crate trainned but I have never used a crate with him and would recommend not using a crate to a new owner.
Below are some pictures of Bruno, if you want to see more just let me know. If you are interested adopting Bruno or would like some more information you can email me anytime at
Jaykreshover@yahoo.com or call me anytime at 267-278-8256. I really want this guy to have a good home. I am located 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia Pa, but to a good home and good people that will love and care for him as much as we do, I will work it out.
