Hi my name is Remie I live in New jersey and here is a little of my experience with my lovely Misty RIP. 13 1/2 years ago a friend/coworker of mine which was a cane corso breeder offered me a dog that was 6 moths old my son was 5 years old and my daughter was 11 years old, the 2nd day of misty being at the house we had problems with my son and my wife so i took Misty to the Vet and explained to him what happened and he told me tell them to leave her along for a few days and shed be ok. I called my friend and explained to him what happened right away he started laughing and told me train her and you will have no problem so I went to a book store got some training books but could not understand how to train a dog with love and not with food so across the street of my work place there was a guard at night and some one told me he was a K-9 trainer for the police dept so I went and asked him what that meant "training a dog with love" and not food after we talked for 1/2 an hr he asked me how old was the dog so as you know by now she was 6 moths old, also asked me to bring her to him so we started at 10 pm and finished at 5 am, he explained to me everything I should be doing for 30 min every day after a few moths of constant training we had the best dog any person could have. this maybe funny but a true story. 3 years ago my mother died at 81 years of age RIP.So I got on an airplane right away and 3.5 hrs later my wife called me and told me that she had took Misty outside to pee and she was laying down at the end of our back yard and no one could bring her inside the house so I told my wife, put Misty on the phone and the only thing I said was GO INSIDE, she got up and back inside the house today we laugh about it but we have so many good memories from her and miss her very very much, she was not a show dog but to us she was a champion, I took her to the Vet they did blood tests and x- rays, the vet said he could not find anything wrong so he put her on antibiotics, he said, she is old so i took her home the next day I called my daughter to see what she was thinking of putting Misty to sleep the following day but in my mind there was something saying that I would not like to see her die but putting her to sleep was not necessary she died a 1 pm on 2-2-12 and she waited until I went outside to smoke so she knew That I didn't want to see her die. Thank you Misty for so many good years, we miss you very much.
she was around 7 moths old

My good friend Alexander came to my house today and promised me another dog to fill the space she left in the house but not in our heart. He doesn't breed any more but some people owe him some puppies. IF i ever had any other dog it will be a CANE CORSO again.
