« on: January 12, 2011, 08:54:48 PM »
hallo,i am aquilasolitaria from mato grosso brasil. new in the forum but not in cc. breeding.i bought my first in buenos aires, criadero el cuervo, de pancho in 2000. now i have 3 cc. pure breed and 5 crossed. i`m a wild boar hunter and want to meet some other w. boar hunter who uses cc.to exchange our impressions and  divide our love for this splendid breed, whose big potencial in huting and personal defense are almost ignored. i am also tryng to find a puppy female because my excellent female recently died for a snake bite. but i  want  a female of a lineage of hunters.      aquilasolitaria with his corsos=the real cane e`presa

Should be interesting to see some dogs in Brazil working. Did you do a special trainning with those dogs, and how was your expirience with Cane Corso working? Where did you find in Brazil or Argentina, linebreeding for hunting? Sorry about a lot of question, but I'm curious to see those kind of dogs.

Welcome to the forum.

hallo ipfares, i m glad that there is someone interested in hunting cc. we dont make any training for the hunt, just when they are still puppyes, about 8 to 10 months we release a pig of 10 kg. to see if they have catching instinct and mostly we do this releasing an expert fox terrier so they learn to catch and not to fear the beast. if the puppy had any problem, we repeat the prove after a while whith a bigger pig or crossed wild boar. but that is not indispensable because we have a lot of catch dogs wich are expert and the new ones learn very well from the older ones. my corsos are of argentinian origin, the first excepcional male, BRUTO was from ´el cuervo´buenos aires and the female ONÇA from rosario, also exepcional. both where exepcional hunters of strongest bite and stamina and exepcional guardians of the house and  vehicles. and seems that the good blood passed to theyr sons which are now a lot and all in our family. some ones died for acidents with snakes or so. now we have 3 pure blood living with us in the fazenda or in the city. others crossed with grey hound, galgo espanol labrador and ayredale live in the fazenda.  we crop ears but dont cut the tail because they have more equilibrium in tue swerve. now i m searching for a new female because my old and beloved ONÇA died of a snake bite, but its big deal because there arent hunting lines tested as mine.ciao by aquilasolitaria
