Aloha everyone, the name is Pizzo.
I currently own 1 corso named Tino. He's 6 yrs old now and approx. 150 pds, intact, black brindle and a wonderful friend, gaurdian and dog!! I adopted him over a year ago, glad to say I've never regretted my choice...even when he $#it on my carpet...hahaha!!
I used to breed/train Alaskan Huskies with my Mom in Montana when I was younger. Then in Portland, Oregon I got into Amstaff's and Pitbull Terrier's.....another great animal!
However, it wasn't until 3 yrs ago, when a friend asked me to watch his "dog" for 2 weeks, that I found out what I was missing. When I say "dog" i used the term lightly, I really meant horse, gargoyle and/or demon dog. At least those were three of the many words I used to describe the beast in front me when I first met him......lol....it was an interesting 2 weeks to say the least. two years later and many sleepless nights at the computer googling "corso, cane corso, mastiff, bandogge, etc" I had the chance to adopt "Tino". The wifey said "NO" at first, that was until our neighbors house was broken into and robbed at 10 pm on a wednesday night. Her decision changed the next day when she heard what had happened. I'm glad to say he's never had to defend our home, but the foot traffic of random people by our place has almost died down completely. He's now the neighborhood mascot and enjoys a good life with me, my wife and two kids. He enriches our life with his love and keeps us smiling with his crazy Corso antics! He is a great addition to my family!
That is my introduction to the Corso family, I welcome all questions and comments and look forward to learning and sharing with everyone here.
Aloha,
Pizzo
