Hi there,
I am a new Corso owner in Southern California. She is purebred, and we got her a few weeks ago from a local Pit Bull Rescue. The rescue had two other Corsi, and a few other mastiffs. They had her for three weeks. Her previous owner surrendered her because she didn't get along with their cat.
She is about 80lbs, and is a complete sweetheart. She is great with our two daughters, and we are enjoying watching her settle in and get used to us. She bonded with us pretty quickly, and is learning the rules of the house very well. She is obedient and eager to please.
My favorite thing about her so far is watching how she changes when we have company over. She is polite and friendly when we welcome visitors in, but will not lay down for long or go to sleep like she normally would. She keeps checking the doors, and then stays pretty close to the family.
She has had some obedience training, but they must have let her pull on the leash on walks...
We are very fortunate that we found her!!
