Kimba is a daughter of my Ch. Stella and It.Ch. Ettore. So I am now a grandma.....
Puppy 1, brindle male 450 grams
Puppy 2 is on its way at this very moment.................

At the moment Kimba has 4 pups.
#1 brindle male, 450 grams
#2 brindle male, 460 grams
#3 brindle male, 360 grams
#4 brindle female, 240 grams
She is 59 days after the first mating and 57 after the second. So she is very early. Only with small pups like this and she is still as fat as she was when she started, we are in for a long night....... With lots of pups still coming........

So far we have 13 pups. 8 males (4 brindle & 4 fulvo) & 5 females (4 brindle & 1 fulvo)
I don't know if she is ready. I hope so There will not be many more. But that would also be impossible.
The pups are small. The smallest is 240 grams, the largest 460 grams. I'm used to 460 being about the smallest........... Most are now around 350. But they seem to do real good.
For now I'm cured for my puppyfever. Time to go home to my own dogs. Kimba is from friends.

I can still sleep very well. These are not my own pups. They are from friends who live very close to me. I bred Kimba and she was special to us. So they took her and I can see her when ever I want. The father is Joekel, a male bred by José. So we are both grandma's now Only the pups are 5 minutes away from me and 2 hours away from José. But........... José has her own pups. I have been without pups for 16 months now. So now I'm happy to have pups living close to me But it is still time I will get some of my own!!!!!!!!!

My camera finally has another job to do It is very hard to tell who is who. But so far we managed to figure out which pup is who. I hope we can continue like this. But with this many pups it is hard.........
Unfortunately we are down to 13 pups. 1 Just did not make it Mother nature can be tough sometimes

They are down to 12 pups. The really small one did not make it either.
I do not like things around necks. And neither does Kimba's owner. It's just mother nature that not all pups made it. They were born very early. So they are a bit premature. The small one did real good. But from the moment she was born, I noticed that her backhand was not really fully developed. But since she was very strong and drank good, I thought she just might make it after all. Her backhand looked better this afternoon than it did yesterday. But she did not make it. Mother nature culls the pups who are not healthy and strong enough. That is the best way in my opinion. I would not interfere with Mother Nature too much. She has plenty of strong pups who will make it.
