Nate & Abbie Intro

Hello all!  We are getting our first CC on Friday from Stormy Winns.  She (name undecided) is a mild-manored darker brindle.  We hope to learn (& later share) a lot on this forum.  Abbie has more recent K9 experience than Nate.  We hope to share our joy (& pain) here with you all.  Any input is appreciated & welcomed.

Ron,
Yes we got our puppy from Daysia.  She did a great job as a mommy.  We weighed Lucy F. this morning and she is 14lbs. 

We're interested in recipes if anyone is cooking for their CC's.  We are currently feeding 2-3 c of moistened Diamond, but will likely transition to Iam's LB puppy as we have not been able to find Diamond locally.  Iam's is available everywhere.  Someone at a local holistic shop mentioned starting her on raw meats, any input?

Puppy K starts in about 10 days at Terrapin K9 in Hickory.  We met with Robin earlier this week and can't wait to start school. 

We'll try posting a pick soon,

Since you are in the area, by all means get yourself to Hickory Feed and get some premium food into your pup.  They carry Eagle Pack and some of the other good stuff.  Iams is just not in the same league... this has a little bit to do with why it is so widely distributed.  There is more emphasis on marketing than on quality with these foods.  If you are looking to integrate raw foods into your dog's diet, it may be even more important to start with a quality kibble.  Best wishes with your pup and let's see some photos...
