Hi everyone! My name is Jen. I currently do not own a Cane Corso, but I work at a high kill shelter, and we have one at the shelter who will be available for foster on Monday. I've been spending some time with him, and have fallen in love with him. He literally tries to lay in my lap when I sit on the floor. If I do not foster him, he will be put to sleep because of his "iffy-ness" around strangers, which I understand is part of the breed, but unfortunately makes him "unadoptable" in my director's eyes. So, my main reason for joining is to educate myself as much as I can on the breed...to get to know the good, the bad, and the ugly.
A little about me...I have a wonderful husband and daughter. I own quite a variety of animals...lots of chickens, parakeets, a mouse, three cats and two pit bull terriers. My family is my life...two and four-legged. I've been working with animals pretty much my whole life, and know more about dogs than I care to admit. lol
I look forward to meeting everyone and can't wait to learn more about this breed!
