Hello everyone.
« on: January 18, 2011, 04:28:51 AM »
Im Rudy Arocha of Texas (San Antonio area).
Im new to the CC, or I should say 100% CC.
I have had, (just lost) my best buddy of 10 years.  He was a CC/Wimer mix.  A great dog.  Loyal, brave, protective of the family and extended family and Oh to any small animal.  I was in conversation with a breeder in Texas to get a puppy during his life to help raise adn set rules.   But I have to start all over again from puppy.   I got Coal (my old dog) at 5 weeks old.  I know everyone is about to say that is too early.  But his mother went dry at 2 days of age and he was bottle fed and the mom kind of pulled away so he was human raised.   Being a previous breeeder I help with the litter and the raising by the forster parents.   Ar 5 weeks she felt that I could do everything she could and allowed me to take him home.  I continued to help her a few days a week and coal would return with me to visit his brothers and sisters till they were all places.
I am now retired and want to start a kennel.  I am not in it for the money anyone with a kennel would tell you that.  I love dogs and this breed excites me very much and I hope to breed to a high standard and help the breed continue with healthy, strong and wel tempered dog for a very long time to come.   I have to admit, I still have a little more to learn about the CC, but that is half the fun for me.  I have had large dogs all my life and domanent dogs and am no stranger to the training and time it take, and I am willing to work to raise and sociallize to the very best of my skill.  I hope to raise a model K9 citizen.
