Welcome on board.
It sounds hard, but once a dog starts biting family members, for me there is only 1 thing left to do. I know it is very hard and difficult to do. But you can not keep him locked up for the rest of his life to keep accidents from happening. I think putting him down is best for family and also for him. You can try to look for help from a professional trainer. But...... Unless it is the result of something that recently happened, there is not much they can do either. Since he has been so nervous since you have him as a puppy, it's a character problem. To prevent accidents is better than to cure. The result in the end will be the same :( The longer you wait, the more difficult the choice will be. I am very sorry for you :'(

I thing there is the reason of all the problems  :-X
It's a pity that dogs life is in danger because the owners couldn't socialize and train him properly.....

There are many things you can do to stop this. First thing you have to do is show the dogs you are the dominate one. But you have to do this as safetly as possible. When we got over aggressive police dogs we would start with a muzzle and a pinch collar. You have to make sure you use and put the pinch collar on properly and have it secured to another collar so if the prong collar comes off you still have control of your dog. The next thing i would do is take the dog for a walk but make sure that you walk out the door before he does and make him sit before he can walk out also. Then i would walk him with very firm commands and good hard corrections. Make him lay down every 10 feet and make him sit every 5 feet. and if he tries to bite you thats why you have the muzzle. and when he does that you give him a real hard correction and make him lay down untill he is calm and then start over. Also you need to start doing other stuff like NOT letting them get on the couch , sleeping or getting on you bed, makeing them sit before you put there food down and making them stop eatting then backing away from it. also do not lay on the ground and let them stand over you. you should never let a dominate dog stand over the top of you even in playing because thats what they do to each other to show dominates.

I agree with this... It sounds that Thor is so nervous and scared that he is biting because off that....
I don't understand why you are using an electric colar on a dog that is afraid and nervous! Electric collars never should been used whitout help off a proffesional dogtrainer. It's dangerous if you don't use them correctly! :-X
Please get help from a proffesional dogtrainer to fix this problem.....!!!!!!!!
And otherwise you should search for a new owner for him, somebody who is  famialar with this kind of Race/Breed.

The answer just is socializing with your surrounding, people, dogs and so on, but now he's 4 years old and the way would be hard but nothing is impossible, try to find a good place for him cause he need to be together with other people.
Please ask JoJo on this Forum, she can give you more tips how to doing ;)

Dogs love their friends and bite their enemies, quite unlike people, who are incapable of pure love and always have to mix love and hate !

hello.... just my thoughts.... work with your dog.... 3-4 times a week..... doesn't need to be long sessions... 10-20 mins. a day... make'em heal.... make'em sit... put'em in a down stay.... the more you work them the more of a relationship you will build... all of this is alot easier when they are 30lbs. as to 100lbs... but oh well.... make sure they (and you) understand who is the alpha... don't let them push pass you out the door... make'em sit.... don't forget the love.... but don't let them rule the house... life long training... they love it... life long socialization.... but at the end of the day... if the trust can't be regained... you have a huge liability as well as a responsibility to your neighbors and others... find the dog a good home with someone experienced with large breeds..... good luck
