Hello from Edmonton Alberta

After a long year of research of the breed my wife and myself have taken the Cane Corso plunge, with lots of bakcground research in a breeder and such, we have decided to get a Male Cane as our 3rd dog in the house(3 YEAR OLD Long Haired Chihuahua, and 2 year old mini American Eskimo). Puppies are not due to be born for a couple more weeks so we find ourselves anxiously waiting kind of like when we were children waiting for Christmas morning.

Have read lots of stuff on this site and have gotten a lot of great information which seems never ending haha. So many things to still figure out, what kind of crate? kibble vs raw? what kind of trainer to go with? We have a couple more months until our decisions will be necessary.. Look forward to talking to more of you in the near furture.


I guess i should also add, originally from Sao Paulo Brasil and now live in Edmonton Canada

Hello and welcome to the board from the East coast. Congrats on joining the rest of us that are crazy about the breed. There are lots of people here that are a great help so ask any questions and you should get some great advise!

Muito Bem , my wife is from Mine Gerais . Unfortunately this is the extent of my Portuguese but welcome. Great site , you'll have a ball and learn alot while doing it.

Welcome from Brazil !!! I think you should not buy a cane corso... when you start, nobody knows how to stop!!! This is the most terrible disease that you can imagine  :P

Hi and welcome from Blackfalds (if you aren't sure where that is, it is 5 min north of Red Deer:D) 

Lucas is right about the disease.  We got our first Corso last July and I already want another.  Lol  Can't wait to see pics:)

Thank you all for welcoming us and as soon as we have pictures we will share... Until then the waiting sucks but will be worth it...
