Can you post a proper introduction? As your real name, where are you from etc. That makes it easier to help you and we always like to know who we are talking to ;)

All I can say is that you  should  find a breeder who not only breeds for standards but also funtionality .
Read all you can about Cane Corso History and then try and get a dog that not only fits the standard but also who's  geneology won't  be an embarassment down the road.

Even if you dont plan on anything but conformation shows you should try and get a pup out of lines that do in fact make the breed  proud.

Although there are no sure fire guarantees you should make it your business to make sure your  corso not only looks like a corso but has the traits of a corso! Lest you be one of those who sadly reports that although their corso looks fantastic  sadly it has no cojones.

I don't know if Ireland has the same import rules as the UK with the titer for rabies. If so, it is easiest to start looking in the UK, because importing from the mainland means that your pup would be at least 10 months old before the bloodtest is valid (if all goes well the first time). 10 Months is a long wait. There is a Cane Corso club in the UK www.canecorso.org.uk or www.thefocc.com
