Hello from NC
« on: October 14, 2011, 03:56:36 PM »
Hello. We just purchased our first Cane Corso puppy after over 2 years of researching the breed and different breeders. WE are a 70 acre facility that specializes in breeding and training sport horses as well as Boxers. We are very excited about our new endeavors with our Cane Corso puppy Tar Heel's Brook Lynn. We are interested in learning more about Schutzhund-Training as well as showing her in conformation. Any information would be great appreciated. We look forward to learning more and sharing in our new family members progress and development.
Still trying to figure out how to post pics :)

Welcome. Where did you get your puppy?

Have you considered ring training instead?

Hello and thank you for the welcome. Brook Lynn's breeder is Tar Heel Cane Corso in NC. I plan to try a little of everything with her :)

Awwww...   cute pup good luck with her.  Is the white boxer a part of your breeding program? I have always heard all white boxers was a disqualification and should never be bred for health reasons?  Aren't they very prone to being blind and deaf?

No she is not part of our program. She was the first Boxer we ever owned and is my right hand girl. She is getting older now so she would rather hold down the fort instead of being outside working the horses with me. We have never had any blindness, deaf or other issues other than having to make sure she doesn't get sunburned during the summer :)
