Hey J & M-

Giorgio looks beautiful & big. I'm curious what he weighs. Django is approaching 40lbs. I'm told that keeping Corsos from growing too fast -by limiting food- can help the developement of healthy hips, joints, bones. But I don't have a good reference for how fast he should be growing...

I'm taking Django in to get his ears done this week, by Dr. Jezbarra in Riverside. He was so busy that we've had to wait longer than we would have liked. How is Giorgio handling it? I kinda hate to put my little guy through the discomfort...

Take care-
Josh

Also, if you get a chance, go to the "temperament" section on this forum, then to the "Tips on handling and raising a puppy" thread. There is some good info on puppy play, biting, tug 'o' war, etc...

I'm not sure how into training you are, but also check out the videos by "Helena." She is a member of this forum and you can find her videos on this site. I'm blown away by how tuned in her Corso has become ...definitely no leash required between her and her dog.

Giorgio is about 35 pounds now which surprised me but is in the normal standard for how they put on weight during their development. he is doing good with his ears still a little sensitive and if the vet tries to put a cone on him i would suggest to not leave it on very long if at all. we kept Giorgio in his for 3 days and since the cane corso has that little extra skin on their neck that hung down it rubbed it raw. we ended up getting this blow up neck ring rather than a cone which works great we got our from petco so just a little tip that we wish we would have known. make sure you keep those ears dry though Giorgio got his wet somehow and they got infected we cleaned them out and all but that was some trouble he didnt need.

Hey guys-
Django and I are comming too. Giorgio looks than Django. My original weight estimate on Django was about 6 lbs too heavy -we went to the vet and found out that our scale at home is far from accurate. So are you gonna compete, or just hang with Mike and check it all out? I'm looking forward to meeting you and Giorgio in person/dog.
