Question about a topic
« on: March 23, 2009, 05:32:25 AM »
Tony Scandy wrote a repsonse to a post on PennHip Certified and asked if people would post the names of the dogs?  Is this acceptable on this forum or not?

It is a fine line between knowledge and bad press (for lack of better terminology).

Just curious...

I know everyone can post names and scores of their own dogs, i don’t know if people are free to post other ones scores and names.
I will ask Nancy tomorrow.

I am pretty sure it is not allowed;
Only about your own dogs.
Because if mistake; dog bad name; so just owners
If I am right

In the Netherlands it's public, it's even a duty of the kennelclub or breedclub to publice the Hipresults, with names of the dogs. They are not allowed to public the names of the owners.

Okay,

First of all, this forum has nothing to do with the Dutch kennel club, so we have our own rules.
And just as veleda and  I thought;
It’s okay for owners to say, my dog’s score is ???
It’s NOT okay for others to say, his dog’s score is ???

Just to avoid name-calling, bashing and Personal attacks.

Hope this answers your question?
