hello i got some questions

i am considering a corso for my next dog and i got some questions, please no preaching on dog owner ship. i had my last dog for 15 years and he was my best friend. i wasnt ready to get another dog but i had a break in shortly after. and i have kids and work at night so its time to get a new buddy.
1. do they shed?
2. are they smart ( my last dog was a blue healer so standard is high)
3. do they slobber all over.
4. are they really good with kids.
5. do they bark all the time for no reason
6. when someone new is around its owner do they watch them like a hawk but stay polite.
 thanks in advance for any help i recieve, also i will need a good place in vegas to look at and purchase one.

They do, but mostly when they are outside.
4. are they really good with kids.
YES (mine), but also it depends on character of each dog and ofcourse the way kids behave is important too 
5. do they bark all the time for no reason
