Hi all my name is sean holmes and as stated above i am from an rural/remote of australia. My partner and I are the proud owners of two cane corso that are a big part of our family, the breed is still quite rare in this country with the majority of people having never heard of them let alone seen one in the flesh.
My decision to purchas a corso came about while living/working in an extreamly remote part of nsw with one of the highest crime rates in the country boasting 42 police in a town of 2000 people ::), we needed a dog with strong guarding instinct that would still be a good family dog and after much reserch on the breeds available the corso stood out with its strong working history. I also work my male (hunting) where he is a real stand out ;D showing the breed has lost nothing of there past.
anyway cant wait to have a look around your site as information on the breed is hard to find in this country.

we're also from Australia, Perth to be more precise, and own a beautiful corso girl. Where did you get your dog from? Not many corso breeders here...

When I was looking for a cane corso, I send a email to a german breeder and they send me an email back that they moved to Australia...So there is certainly somewhere a breeder from Germany there but I don´t remember the name.  ::)

hi mike_kasia the male is from gouchi/iticor breeding breed in victoria and the bitch is fomoso/gouchi lines breed in qld. where did your dog come from?
canecorso08  the german breeders are now called famoso in australia

We got our bitch from Itacor, the parents were sire Itacor - Cougar and dam Itacor - Guardian Angel.  We came across Famoso when we were looking for a puppy.
