thnigs are tough right now. Rescue is overwelmed with dogs, especially large bully breeds. If you are in the Soutwest and would like to contribute to rescue please consider the following:
FOSTERING: If you have experience with large breeds, especially bully breeds, and for one reason or another cannot committ to a life time, fostering may be for you! Fostering gives you an opportunity to help a dog along its path, have a wonderful experince, and contribute without a long term committment. ( I have had 6 fosters this year and it is a great experience)
Fostering is also a great way to experience different dogs and breeds if you are loooking for a dog. When the right one comes along-Keep it!
Transportation: sometimes a dog just needs help getting to its forever home. "legs" are usuallly broken down into 2-3 hour stretches
Training and evaluation : Have experience training? Rescue can use you as well.We need trainers and temperment evaluators. Check with your accountant, you may be able to write something off!!
