Lula is a 9 month old female Cane Corso, looking for her forever home. At 9 month's old Lula already is showing a sharp defense drive, and it is manifesting a little bit inappropriately out in public, however she seem's to have a very good nervous system, so we attribute this behavior much more to the fact that her owner's have not channeled her productively, and she definitely does not view them as capable leader's, therefore she feel's the stress and burden of making all of the decision's as to who and what is threatening. After a few appropriately made verbal correction's from her owner she was already responding in a positive manner. Because of Lula's growing defense drive, and previous lack of leadership on her owner's part, she will need an experienced home. Lula will need a lot of socialization, and proper training, we will give free training to whoever adopt's Lula. Lula should not be in a home with children. Also, Lula seem's to be very friendly with other dog's, but will not be allowed to go in to a home with another female dog. Lula does seem to have issues with anything with wheel's that move ( skateboard's, wheelchair's, walker's, bike's), today when she came out she did encounter my mom's wheelchair and walker and she did pretty well with them. At first she was very aggressive with the walker, chasing it biting it, and then she did settle down and leave it alone. On the bright side after sniffing me and spending some time with me, Lula was very friendly and affectionate with me. I, of course, fell in love with her!
