not realy good at intros, but im a 26 yr old female currently in CT, and planning to move to 4 1/2 acres in tn in mid september (just getting the paperwork sorted
)
i was raised around all kinds of dogs but particularly mastifs and before an injury that rendered me unable to continue working in the feild i was a large mammal zoo keeper (specifically hyena and orangutan though there were many others i got my hands in on) at a private facility.
im a simple type of girl, grew up suburban with country roots and im not trying to get back to those...
thats where this forum comes in.
part of my getting back to my roots brought me to the corso and after much reserch i belive a corso would be the perfect fit on my hopefully soon to be little homestead.
a protective but inteligent dog (read not agressive unless nessicary as long as properly socilized) whos a devoted companion. id love to eventually teach him to pull a small cart to help me haul small amounts of fire wood or feed to the chickens lol, and generally just be my "big' companion (i used to keep danes so comparitivly there not big but they are still large lol)
im currently also owned by 2 chinese crested dogs who i do show and would like to add a 3rd to the mix eventually, 2 cats, 2 linneolated parakeets and a severe macaw....oh and fish, lots of fish.
so yeah hoping i can learn alot more around here. as it stands right now i have my eyes on a breeding due in october, but we'll see what happens.
